We’re the team behind Family App — an app designed to help families stay connected and safe by sharing their real-time locations.
📍 What We Collect
- Your friendly name
- Your location (with your permission)
- Your device info (model and CPU type for debugging)
- Basic usage data (like how often you open the app)
🤔 Why We Collect It
- To share your location with trusted family members
- To help reconnect families when someone gets lost
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
🔐 How We Protect Your Data
- All communication between devices and servers is encrypted
- We use end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for your personal data
- We never sell or share your data with a 3rd party
📅 Data Retention
Your shared location data is automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours. We do not keep long-term location histories.
🧼 Your Rights
Under laws like the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. In Family App, you can delete all your stored data at any time by using the "Delete" button found in the Member Settings page.
Because we don’t collect any personal identifiers (like email or phone number), we cannot identify or delete your data once the app has been uninstalled.
👶 Children’s Privacy
Parents can manage or delete a child’s data directly in the app.
🌍 Where Your Data Is Stored
We use secure, GDPR-compliant cloud services located in Europe.
